Baltimore

Baltimore is a critical, working class seaport of the US. Baltimore is home to the Phoenix Shot Tower, a National Historic Landmark, and the inspiration for the Phoenix team name. The crest of the Phoenix represents the Maryland state flag.

rising from the ashes

In 1904, the Great Baltimore Fire ravaged the city. Despite this, Baltimore rebuilt into a vibrant city known for its culture and people. The Phoenix colorway includes red, orange, and blue representing that vibrancy.

basketball roots

Basketball is inextricably intertwined in the culture of Baltimore. An original NBA city, some of the most electric talents have come from Baltimore. The Phoenix will continue to build upon and represent the rich culture and history of Baltimore.

North carolina

The state recognized for being “first in flight,” North Carolina will always be tied to the birth of air travel. The Flight includes imagery of feathers, propellers, and a turbine engine to show that evolution.

the queen city

Charlotte is known as the Queen City. The Flight colorway includes blue and garnet red jointly representing the states of North Carolina and South Carolina, and associated with royalty for centuries.

Basketball roots

Few can think about basketball without thinking about the Carolinas. Players from the Greater Charlotte area have forever changed the way basketball is played. The Flight will write the next chapter of this storied area.

district of columbia

Our nation’s capital, named after George Washington, may not be represented in the Senate, but it is represented in the PCL. The three stars on the wing of the Stealth jet represent the flag of Washington, D.C. The initials “DC” are also included in the basketball overlaid on the Stealth jet.

BLENDING IN THE SHADOWS

In DC, so much happens in the shadows. Stealth is often required. The Stealth jet soars undetected. The black monochromatic colorway keeps it hidden in the dark, and pays tribute to the Seal of the District of Columbia always being presented in only black and white.

Basketball roots

The basketball roots in DC run deep, with some of the game’s greatest hailing from the DMV. With so many talented programs in the area, we expect that tradition to continue with the DC Stealth.
